Itinerary for 13/14 Days 12 Nights Photography Trip in Bangladesh

1st Day: (Dhaka). After your arrival in Dhaka airport, we will transfer you to the hotel to check in. (Depending on time), then we move to visit Sadarghat in the afternoon. It will include Badam Toli ghat and Babu Bazar bridge to take photos from the bridge looking down on the river. Here you can see the ship / launch repairing yards and take photographs. We can try to find out people dying on materials. It is the best place for photography. After that, drive back to hotel. Overnight at hotel in Dhaka.

2nd Day: (Dhaka-Barisal). After breakfast, you can see pottery village and brass utensils making in a village. Then we will drive to Barisal (about 200 kilometers, 4.30 hours drive). Overnight at hotel in Barisal.

3rd Day: (Barisal). Reaching early in the morning, we will start visiting. During this time in the Barisal backwaters, you can take photos of floating market and the life of people on the waterways. We will move to village to see local people, village life, farmers, schools, people working in the fields and in small industries. Visit Swarupkati. At the end, back to hotel for overnight stay in Barisal. OR journey by night ship to Dhaka.

4th Day: (Barisal-Dhaka). This morning, drive toward Dhaka. If time permits, you can visit some places in Dhaka. Overnight at hotel in Dhaka.

Journey to Hill Tracts

5th Day: (Drive-Chittagong). It is about 5 hours journey for 250 kilometers drive. On the way, you can visit the beach, temple and hills near Sitakhundo. Check in hotel for overnight stay in Chittagong.

6th Day: (Chittagong-Rangamati). After breakfast, we will start journey to the hill tracts Rangamati which is 2 hours 30 minutes journey for 75 kilometers drive. We move to Kaptai lake to ride boat. It is a splendid setting of lush landscape and scenic beauty. The boat journey through the vast expanse spreading about 680 square kilometers of crystal clear water. There is set by hills and evergreen dense forest with rich tribal villages’ temples and tribal markets. You will visit tribal village Master Para, Ukil para Chakma and Marma tribal community to see their lifestyle. You can also visit Rajbon Bihara Buddhist temple, Shubolong water fall, Hanging Bridge. Take lunch at Sorgochara a beautiful panoramic view island restaurant and enjoy tribal local food. In the evening Transfer to hotel. Your dinner and stay overnight at hotel in Rangamati.

7th Day: (Rangamati). Today you will go to explore Bonorupa Bazaar, Bengali village and Chakma tribal village. Overnight stay at hotel in Rangamati.

8th Day: (Rangamati-Chittagong). In the morning, start to visit Asambasti textile factory and tribal village. In the late afternoon, we will start journey back to Chittagong. It is about 2 hours journey. Overnight at hotel in Chittagong.

Tribal Communities in Sreemangal

9th Day: (Chittagong- Sreemangal). Today morning, we will go to the biggest fish market of Bangladesh which is in Chittagong. This is the best place of selling big sea fish. It is also a good place for photographs. Visit sea side by boat, take photographs in the sea. We will go to the sea for boating at the sea side to take photos. It is a ship breaking yard. You can see ships the breaking work. Possible to take photos from far. Then move to salt factory to see how labors collect and produce. We will drive toward Sreemangal. Overnight at hotel in Sreemangal.

10th Day: (Sreemangal). After breakfast, we will visit several tribal villages, Tripura tribal village, Monipuri tribal village, tea worker village and Garo tribes. If you are interested in, you can visit wetland for boating and watching fisherman activities. Overnight at hotel in Sreemangal.

Visit to the Capital City

11th Day: (Sreemangal- Dhaka). After breakfast, We will drive to Dhaka. On the way, you will visit Khasia tribe, rice field, rice boiler mill to see their activities and visit brick factory where laborers work to make bricks. We will try to find a place of crushing bricks with hammer. Reaching Dhaka, overnight stay at hotel in Dhaka.

12th Day: (Dhaka). We will visit Sadarghat to see laborers daily activity. Then we will take you to laborers carrying coal, goods above their heads and other laborers carrying and unloading things from ships and boats.

13th Day: (Dhaka). Start very early in the morning to be at Kawran Bazar by 06:30 A.M to visit the busiest vegetable market of Bangladesh. We will move to Tejgaon train station / Kamlapur Rail station (the biggest train station in Bangladesh). You may get a chance to go onto a train or to photograph people sitting on top of a train (if permitted by authority). You have to wait for the train schedule to see and photographs. We can also visit Ahsan Manzil, Lalbagh fort, Dhakeshwery temple and star mosque. Back to hotel for overnight stay at a hotel in Dhaka.

14th Day: (Dhaka- Airport for departure). Trip ends. Thanks for your 14 days tour with us in Bangladesh.
