Pick Up: A driver with AC car will pick up you at 22.00 from Dhaka airport and transfer to hotel (30 minutes). Overnight at hotel in Dhaka.

1st Day – Old Dhaka Visit

Start at 8.30 AM, our local English speaking tour guide will meet you in your hotel lobby to start the trip. Places are as follows.

Parliament building Visit the parliament building which is the most valuable building in Bangladesh from where legislative procedures start. You can see exterior design from far. To see interior design, we have to apply for necessary permission in advance.

Curzon Hall is in use of University. It was built in British period. Shahid Minar – a memorial pace.

National Mosque, Star Mosque is a Mughal period mosque. One of the best designed mosques in Dhaka city.

Lalbagh fort – Lalbag Fort is an incomplete fort. It was built in Mughal period. Lalbagh fort is one of the best places in the capital city.

Shakhari Bazar is good for photography because of crowded narrow path. Many of the shops sell products for Hindu people to use in houses and temples. The building were built in the British period for Hindus.

Majestic Pink Palace – known as Ahsan Manzil which is a palace of many nawabs, landlords and British. It is a museum now. You can see the historical information, materials used by those people.

Sadar Ghat which is a busy popular river port. In Sadar Ghat, you will see many launch, boats, ships and ferries to go to down places. This is the biggest water transport station in the city. A best place for photography as many local workers work here, paddle boats haunts on the river to cross from one side to others. Besides, there is shipyard on other side.

Finish at 5/6 pm in your hotel. Overnight at hotel in Dhaka city.

2nd Day – Full Day Sonargaon Tour

Start at 8.30 AM, Our local English speaking tour guide will meet you in your hotel to start the tour. Places are as follows.

Drive to the tourist places (1 hour). to Panam city, ancient capital city of Bengal. The city is also known as ghost city because of abandoned for ages. You can see the oldest buildings built in 12th to 18th.

Goaldi Mosque, it is Mughal period one dome mosque, now it is about to fall. Risky to walk inside but you can walk around to see the design.

Landlord house and Sonargaon museum, you can visit the museum to see the materials used by landlords, kings, mosque, temple and houses.

Island visit, a river cruise to an island where people make their a new way lifestyle. We will drive to Boidder Bazar (27 km) near Sonargaon to cruise in the mighty Meghna river for about 2 hours. There are engine boats to cruise in this river. Here you can get the touch of nature and village life of Bangladesh. OR, you can visit weaving village to see handloom work.

Finish at 6 / 7 PM, in your hotel. (For refreshment, 1 extra night is added). After refreshment, we will transfer you to the airport at 21.00. Trip ends.
