Boating tour in Sylhet is a day long tour in the river of Ratargul forest and Lalakhal river. This tour can be customized on your requirements. It will be handled by local expert tour guide and operator of Sylhet.
Boating Tour Plan in Sylhet
- 9 am, pick up and start (possible to customize).
- Our tour guide will pick you up from airport, train station, bus station or from your hotel. Drive to Ratargul forest by reserved AC car, about 1 hour journey.
- 10 am – 11.30 am, Visit Ratargul Swamp Forest,
- We will reach forest entrance and and take a paddle boat to move into the forest. This is a swamp forest where there are canals and rivers for boating. You can visit the only swamp forest of Bangladesh. Half of the trees are under water in rainy season. In dry season, water is in the canals and possibility to walk in the forest.
- 11.45 am – 12.45 pm, Driving to another spot,
- We will drive to another spot. Drive to Lalakhal river by reserved AC car, about 1 hour journey. As this area is countryside, there is no better restaurant.
Day Break for Lunch in a Local Restaurant – 12.45 pm – 1.45 pm
- 1.45 pm – 4 pm, Visit Blue Water River,
- Reaching there, get on Engine boat which moves in the blue water river – Lalakhal. An amazing view of the river, nature view in two sides, local lifestyle, and high hills in India that you can see. This is only blue water river in Bangladesh.
- 4 pm, Drive back to hotel,
- We will drive back to hotel. It takes about 1 hour journey. At 5 pm, we will drop off you to your hotel.
