Itinerary of Rajshahi Day Tour to Archaeological Sites
Starting: Our tour guide or tour operator will meet at your hotel in Rajshahi to pick up at 8:00 / 9.00 am. If you already have not taken your breakfast in your hotel, we will stop at a local restaurant for your food. Then we will continue to the tourist spots.
Bagha Mosque, Bagha mosque was embellished with beautiful terracotta in excellent ancient style which was built in Mughal period on the bank of of a large tank. Husain Shahi Sultan Nasir Uddin erected the mosque with inscription in 1523-1524 AD. This mosque was built of bricks with stone plinth, lintels and pillars. The mosque has 10 domes. Terracotta ornaments inner and outer mosque attract beauty. It is about 35 kilometers south east of Rajshahi city in Bagha Upozilla.
Puthia, we will head to the Puthia Hindu Temple center. This has a cluster of notable old Hindu temples in Puthia, Rajshahi. This has the most historical temples in Bangladesh. This complex will amaze you. Shiva temple is the largest temple in Bangladesh Rani (queen) Vubon Moyee, the widow of king Jagat Narayon Roy built the temple in 1823. It has five spire style known in Bangla Poncho Rotno architectural temple. Country’s largest black basalt shiva linga is here. It is located in Puthia Upozilla about 15 kilometers far from Rajshahi city.
Puthia King Palace, Puthi king palace was built in 1895 in Puthia Upozilla. It is about 30 kilometers far from Rajshahi city. It was a house of landlords.

Natore royal palace, we will continue to the Natore Royal Palace. Also known as Natore Rajbari. Rajbari means king house. This house was the residence and seat of the King families. A part of the building was of governing bodies of kings. A queen named Rani Bhabani lived here. After the death of her husband, it was expanded both the estate and the palace. We will drive back to your hotel or airport at about 6.00 pm.
