1st Day – Visit Whole Day at Ratargul, Sada Pathor/ Bisnakhandi in Sylhet
In the morning, local tour guide will receive you from your hotel / bus stand / rail way station / airport in Sylhet. Then we will start the tour. ( if you are already at hotel, we can start the tour after breakfast). Our journey is about one hour to the place. We will go to the places below,
- Ratargul swamp forest. This place is for boat journey through water passages. In the forest, there is vast water body to move around. Rainy season is the best time to travel by boat in this forest. In dry season, you can also walk in the forest.
- Sada pathor, we will drive toward white stone block (Sada pathor) where you can travel by boat to see the hilly view of India. You have to walk here for about 30 minutes to see the border and main spot. OR,
- Bisna kandi– you can visit Bisnakandi by boat to reach Indian border to see the distance view.
- Lunch, On the way, you can take lunch at a local restaurant. Local dish is available.
- Drive to the hotel. At the end of the day, we will go back to hotel for overnight stay.
2nd day- Visit in Sylhet, Jaflong Stone collection Center and Lalakhal river of Blue Water
In the morning, trip will be started to the following places by local tour guide of Sylhet. The drive is for about 2 hours. From your car, you can see natural scenery and the waterfalls on the mountains of India.
- Jaflong, journey to Jaflong where you can see the mountains and waterfall of India from your car. It will take about one hour drive. Reaching there, you can see a river where people are collecting stones from the river bed, hanging bridge and stone crushing center. A natural view of India is seen from here.
- Tea worker community, they are also tribal people. Ancestors of this community came from other states of India during the British period.
- Khasia tribal village, a tribal community lives on other sides of the river. The culture and lifestyle are different. They are matriarchal society. But this community is updated now. Their main source of income is betel leaf cultivation. To visit this community, you have to walk about 2 kilometers.
- Lunch, You can take your lunch at Jaflong too. After lunch, we will drive to another tourist spot.
- Lalakhal, it will take one hour journey. It is also a boat journey in blue water river close to India. Here you can see natural view.
- Saint place, at the end of the day we can visit saint place of Hazrat Shahjalal. This is a Muslim saint place where you can see some informative things. The saint by whom the land became a Muslim living place. Before this saint’s arrival, majority was Hindu.
- Back to hotel or drop at the bus / train station / airport in Sylhet. Trip ends.
