Trip Plan to Sylhet and Sreemangal for 4 Days 3 Nights
- Highlight in the Trip: Jaflong, Lalakhal, Saint Place, Tea garden, Tea worker community, Monipuri tribal community, Khasia Tribal community, pottery village, temple & historical place.
- Starting place and Ending place: Train station in Dhaka. OR, please check option below.
1st Day: Dhaka – Sylhet, visit in Sylhet
- Our tour guide will meet you at train station in Dhaka to start journey by train at 6 AM from Dhaka, about 7 hours journey. In the train, you can buy snacks and water bottle. You will reach Sylhet train station at about 1 pm.
- Guide will transfer you to hotel / resort.
- After refreshing, you will start to visit these places depending on the time.
- Saint Place – Hazrat Shah Zalal Mazar to know its history that this Muslim saint came from Arab in 12th century.
- Local Bazar – We can visit local Bazar to see daily activities and lifestyle of local people.
- Keen bridge – the British made bridge attracts all classes people. A good place to walk in order to see life of local people. OR,
- You can visit Ratargul swamp forest. In the forest, one third of the trees is under water in Rainy season for which you can not walk. In dry season, you can walk in some places. Main way of visiting the forest is boating by paddle wooden boat. You can enjoy the nature.
- At 5 pm, we will drive to the town.
- Overnight at a hotel / resort in Sylhet.
2nd Day: Visit Whole Day in Sylhet
- After breakfast, we will drive to visit some places. Places are as follows.
- Jaflong – Jaflong is one of the oldest tourist destination of Sylhet division which is called the daughter of natural beauty. In rainy season, while you are in car on the way to Jaflong you will see many waterfalls on the mountain in India. Jaflong is a stone collection center from the bed of river.
- Khasia Tribal Village – A Khasia tribal village is in another side of the river. By walking to reach there it takes about 30 minutes for 1 kilometers. You can see their lifestyle.
- Lalakhal – Lalakhal is a natural view and good for boating in the blue water river in winter. In other seasons, there is possible to take boat journey.
- We will drive to hotel / resort. Overnight at hotel in Sylhet.
3rd Day: Sylhet – Srimangal
- After breakfast, we will start our Journey from Sylhet to Srimangal. It will take about 2 hours. After reaching Srimangal, you will check in hotel. Then you will start your visit to these places.
- Monipuri tribal village – to see their weaving work by their wooden traditional machine and their lifestyle.
- Seven color tea shop – in one glass there are seven layers of different color and taste. It is an amazing tea invented firstly in Srimangal.
- Tea worker village – they are also a kind of ethnic group. They look different. Their lifestyle is a colonial life starting from the British period.
- Tea garden, you can walk around the flat tea garden.
- At 5/6 pm, we will drive to the hotel. It takes about 20 minutes.
- Overnight at a hotel / resort in Srimangal.
4th Day: Visit some place, Srimangal to Dhaka
- After breakfast, you can visit some places in Srimangal. The places are mentioned below.
- Lawachara National Park – this is only tropical rain forest of Bangladesh where you can hike several hours according to your choice. During walking in the forest, you will see green forest. There is possibility too to see monkeys, deer, boar and some birds.
- Khasia tribal village – you can visit a tribal village living inside the forest.
- Tripura Tribal community lives close to the forest with their unique culture.
- Tea garden – now you can see green carpet and green valley of the tea gardens by walking on garden path.
- Madhob Pur Lake – lake of water lily and lotus. This lake surrounded by dotted tea garden hills.
- Rubber garden, fruit garden and Hindu temple that you may visit.
- Pottery village – they make clay pots traditionally with their hand though the use of it is going out dated.
- Then journey from Srimangal to Dhaka by train. The distance is about 200 kilometers which takes approximately 5 hours and reach in Dhaka at 10 pm. Trip ends.
