Itinerary of 3 Days 2 nights Trip to Sreemangal from Dhaka
1st Day – Dhaka – Sreemangal
- Receive you from airport / hotel / residence in Dhaka. Drive by train / bus / reserved AC car toward Sreemangal.
- The distance from Dhaka to Sreemangal is about 200 kilometers which take nearly 5 hours.
- After reaching in Sreemangal, you will check in hotel / resort / cottage. Get fresh for some time, if you need. Then we move to restaurant for lunch. Later, start to visit.
- Monipuri tribal community to see how thy weave cloths with their hand loom wooden machine. You can buy their cloths too.
- Tea workers community – they are also known as tribal community. You can walk to the tea gardens and their temple.
- Seven color – seven layers tea in one glass. The specialty of it is first invented here. Every layer has different taste.
- Rubber garden – Visit rubber garden and you can walk through the garden.
- After visiting these places, move to your place to stay at night.
2nd Day – Visit Whole Day in Srimangal
- Lawachara Tropical Rain Forest, after breakfast, we will drive to the tropical rain forest known as Lawachara National Park. In this place, you will spend few hours on your choice. You can walk in the small jungle trail to observe wildlife and the calmness of the forest. OR you can walk in easy open path. You can see some animals in the forest depending on how long you walk.
- Khasia tribal village, Visit a tribal village, it is a matriarchal Khasia tribal community living in the deep forest. Their main source of income is betel leaf cultivation. You can see their lifestyle.
- Fruit gardens, Lemon garden visit and some fruit gardens.
- Back to town for lunch. After lunch, continue driving to see other places.
- Madhobpur lake, Drive to Madhabpur lake surrounded by dotted hills of tea gardens. You can walk around to see the natural views.
- Tea garden- Nurjahan, While driving back, we will see the lush green carpet and green valley of tea garden. You can walk too around to enjoy the nature.
- Overnight in hotel / resort / cottage.
3rd Day – Trip around Sreemangal – Drive to Dhaka
After breakfast, you can do cycling as it is the best place for cycling. OR you visit wetland which is a low land where migratory birds come in winter.
- Cycling, To cycling through village, fruit gardens, tea plantation in Darjeeling hills, you can enjoy the nature. But there is no paved road. This is a village road and little hilly path. OR / Wetland, you can go to the wetland to see migratory birds. In winter (November – February), migratory birds come to take shelter. In this place you can walk through the planted forest to enjoy nature in other seasons.
- Hindu temple, there is a newly designed Hindu temple.
- Local market, you can visit local market to see the daily activities. In this market, people sell vegetable, fish, grocery items etc.
- Check out your accommodation place and go to the restaurant for lunch. After lunch, you will drive back toward Dhaka. It is about 5 hours journey. Sreemangal trip ends.
