Itinerary of Bangladesh Photography Tour for 13 days
- Destination: Dhaka – Barisal – Dhaka – Srimangal – Sylhet – Chittagong – Dhaka.

1st Day – Arrival in Bangladesh:
Depending on your arrival in Bangladesh, we will cover to visit places. After your arrival, we will transfer you to hotel. Check and refresh. Then we will start to visit to Sadarghat in the afternoon, it will include Badam Toli ghat and Babu Bazar bridge to make photos on the bridge looking down on the river and around that area. This place is amazing for photography. In the afternoon, there are many local working class people as day labor, boat men, business, shopping, passengers and so on which makes it the busiest part of the country. You can take a boat ride on the Burigonga river for a nice photography of the boat and sun setting. In the early evening, we will drive back to hotel. Overnight at hotel in Dhaka.
2nd Day – Dhaka Visit Whole Day:
We will start very early in the morning to be at Kawan Bazar by 6 AM at the latest. At Tejgaon train station, you will get a chance to go onto a train or to photograph people sitting on top of a train. Now-a-days there are not many people traveling on the train’s roof everyday. It happens in festival leave, World Islamic gathering which is called Bisho Istema. You have to wait for train schedule. You can walk to rail colony to see the lifestyle of poor homeless people. Kawaran Bazar is the biggest vegetable market in Dhaka to sell in whole sale and retail price. Though it is a whole sale market, there are shops to sell some daily commodities in retail price. Drive to hotel. Overnight at hotel in Dhaka.
3rd Day – Dhaka to Barisal, Overnight Journey by Ferry:
We will visit to the island include the ship / launch repairing yards to take photographs. We can try to find out people dyeing on materials such as lather, boat and plastic works. Then we will take you to photo laborers carrying coal on their heads and other laborers carrying and unloading things from ships and ferries. Night journey by launch to Barisal. About 10 hours journey. This ferry is known as ship (launch) in Bangladesh. The ferry has cabins to accommodate passengers in all classes seats including personal bed room and washroom. Food is available in the ferry. Journey by launch is another experience and wonderful trip.
4th Day – Barisal Tour, Best Photography in Bangladesh:
For Barisal backwater trip, we will start very early in the morning to make photos as the sun is rising over the backwaters and of the floating markets and the life of people on the waterways. You can see local village people, village life, farmers, schools and people working in the fields and in small industries around the rivers. Overnight at hotel in Barisal.
5th Day – Barisal Visit to Dhaka:
This morning, we will visit local vegetable and fish market. In local fish market, fish is from the sea and rivers. We will drive back to Dhaka. Overnight at hotel in Dhaka.
6th Day – Dhaka – Srimangal, Tea Capital of Bangladesh:
Early morning, we will take a journey to Srimangal. It is about 5 hours journey. Srimangal is a tea capital of Bangladesh. Reaching there, we will visit to tribal community to see their lifestyle. You can also visit seven layers tea stall to taste the seven different tea taste in one glass. Overnight at hotel in Srimangal.
7th Day – Srimangal Visit Whole Day:
We will start visiting to the forest to take photographs of gibbon and a local tribal community in the forest. Then we will proceed to tea plantation to take photograph of tea workers. After visiting, whole day in the nature, we will drive back to hotel. Overnight at hotel in Srimangal.
8th Day – Srimangal Visit to Sylhet:
Today morning, we will visit pottery village to take some photos. A mid day journey to Sylhet. Reaching there, check in and refresh. In the afternoon, we will walk to the oldest Kean bridge built in the British period. Later, we will go to the Muslim saint place for some photographs. Overnight at hotel in Sylhet.
9th Day – Sylhet Visit Whole Day:
This morning, we will drive a long way to stone collection center. People collect pebbles and stones from the bed of the river. Workers are loading and unloading at stone crushing center. The next place is people collecting sand from the river. Many workers are working in a raw. After these trip, we will back to town. Overnight stay at hotel in Sylhet.
10th Day – Sylhet to Chittagong, Long Journey:
From Sylhet to Chittagong is a long journey for whole day. Overnight at hotel in Chittagong.
11th Day – Chittagong Visit Whole Day:
We will go to the biggest fish market of Bangladesh. We will move to salt factory to see how they process and workers loading and unloading from the ferry or ship. Working class people are available in this area. Continually we will reach ship breaking yard to see the work from far. Then our driving back to hotel. Overnight at hotel in Chittagong.
12th Day – Chittagong to Dhaka, Long journey:
Morning journey to Dhaka which is a long journey again. Overnight at hotel in Dhaka.
13th Day – Departure Day:
