Itinerary of 6 Days 5 Nights Tour in Dhaka, Barisal and Bagerhat
Day-1, 11 November 2026, your arrival – Dhaka.
- When you arrive in the late afternoon in Dhaka airport, our tour guide will receive you with private reserved AC car to transfer to hotel. It takes about 15 minutes to reach hotel. Check in hotel; take dinner in any local restaurant close to the hotel. In the restaurant, steamed rice, bread, vegetable, fish curry, meat curry and mashed vegetable are served.

Day-2, 12 November 2026, Old Dhaka Visit – Overnight by Ship to Barisal.
- You will check out your room. Our tour guide will pick you up at 8 am from hotel with reserved private AC car and continue driving to the places to visit such as Parliament building from outside. Parliament building is one of the best architectures of the world designed by American architect. You can visit liberation war museum. After 10 minutes, you will stop at flower market. Continue driving to Curzon Hall – it was built in British period with the British design. This building is also interesting to see outside. You can walk here for about 30 minutes.
- This building is now part of University. 5 minutes drive to Dhakeshwary Temple; it is an oldest and popular Hindu temple in Bangladesh which carries historical information. It was built in 11th century.10 minutes drive to reach star mosque, it is a Mughal period mosque with domes which was built in 18th century.
🍽️ Enjoy Local Food at a Local Restaurant
- The design inner and outer of the mosque is amazing beautiful ceramic and star sign. To visit, you must have long pant. We will drive about 15 minutes through traffic jam to reach Lalbagh fort – the construction of this fort started in 16th century. You can see old house, mosque and get information of historical time. It is the best sightseeing in Dhaka. Shakari bazaar tour is mainly to see oldest Hindu market in narrow line. This area is a nice place to see Hindu culture. Driving to Armenian church to see the church which was built in Armenian’s presence.
- Later in 10 minutes, we will reach Ahsan Manzil – A Pink Palace which was built in 16th century. Outside of the palace looks awesome ancient building. Now it is a museum where Nwab people used things are displayed. One of the best places is in Dhaka for a visit. We will walk to Sadarghat terminal, Sadarghat water transport station. The busiest place is for crossing the river by boats. This river transportation shows excellent views to photographers. You must be pleased visiting this place. You can take a boat ride at the side to see shipyard. The day tour finishes at 5/6 pm.
⛴ Overnight Journey by Ship from Dhaka to Barisal
- Then we check in the launch. Dhaka to Barisal, we will travel by night ship. Night ship is very big that you can enjoy walking through and see local people’s lifestyle. The ship starts at 8/9 pm. It takes 8 hours journey by ship (overnight ship). There is cabin for you in the launch with private washroom. The cabin is Semi VIP like a room of hotel having AC, electric fan, and charging plugins. A restaurant serves Bengali food in dine area and even to your room if you want. Besides there is stall to sell snacks items to buy.
Day-3: 13 November 2026, Floating Market Visit and Local Communities in Barisal.
- Early morning about 5 am, reserved AC car will be there to take us. It is our one hour journey by reserved car to the boat station. On the way, you will take breakfast in a local restaurant. Reaching there, we get on the engine boat to reach floating market. Fruit is available in the boat. This boat journey of about one hour will drive through big river, canals and Small River, if there is much water in the backside canals of houses, we will go too. Floating market of seasonal vegetables and fruits hold in all months (guava market is in June- August). The market place is changed every day. So, the market name is not mentioned here. You can visit the biggest timber market of Bangladesh, ship breaking yard, once upon a time it was a ship breaking yard.
- Now-a-days launch, engine boats are being repaired and painting here. Wood mill, this is a place you can see wood collecting and cutting into pieces. At 12.00 pm, we will go to houses, village to see their culture, lifestyle. At 3 pm, you will go to local market to shop necessary items for cooking if you want. In a family, the items from the market will be used to cook where you can see and join to do. If we go to the local guide family, he knows English. Some can speak English so so. Thus you spend the time till 6 pm at the river side by exchanging with local or walking. Move to a local restaurant for dinner then drive to hotel. Overnight at hotel in Barisal.
Day – 4: 14 November 2026, Barisal – Bagerhat Visit – Dhaka.
- You will check out hotel. At 7am, by our reserved AC car either you will visit fish market and vegetable market or drive to Bagerhat for 2 hours in 80 kilometers. You will visit UNESCO declared world heritage site – Sixty Domed Mosque. You can walk for 30 minutes in its premises. After this visit, we will drive to Dhaka which takes about 5 hours for 215 kilometers. On the way, you will take your lunch in a local restaurant. Check in hotel at 6 pm and overnight in Dhaka.
Day-5: 15 November 2026, Sonargaon Visit – Dhaka.
- In the morning, we will drive to Sonargaon which takes about 1 hour. You can visit Panam city according to the opening schedule. Once upon a time it was the ancient capital city of Bengal. Here you visit oldest houses and landlord house. After lunch, we will continue to Jamdani textile to see village life and their traditional handloom work. Everyday they work except their leave. In the late afternoon, we will drive back to Dhaka. Check in hotel at 6 pm and overnight stay in Dhaka.
Day-6: 16 November 2026, Departure Day.
- Transfer to airport. We will take you to airport in 30 minutes. Trip ends.
