Itinerary of 6 Days 5 Nights Tour in Dhaka, Barisal and Srimangal
Day-1, 11 November 2026, your arrival – Dhaka. When you arrive in Dhaka airport, our tour guide will receive you with private reserved AC car to transfer to hotel. It takes about 15 minutes to reach hotel. Check in hotel; take dinner in any local restaurant close to the hotel. In the restaurant, steamed rice, bread, vegetable, fish curry, meat curry and mashed vegetable. Over night at a hotel in Dhaka.
Day-2, 12 November 2026, Old Dhaka Visit – Overnight by Ship. You will check out your room. Our tour guide will pick you up from hotel with reserved private AC car and continue driving to the places to visit such as Parliament building from outside. Parliament building is one of the best architectures of the world designed by American architect. After 10 minutes, you will stop at flower market. Continue driving to Curzon Hall– it was built in British period with the British design. This building is also interesting to see outside. You can walk here for about 30 minutes.
This building is now part of University. 5 minutes drive to Dhakeshwery Temple; it is an oldest and popular Hindu temple in Bangladesh which carries historical information. It was built in 11th century.10 minutes drive to reach star mosque, it is a Mughal period mosque with domes which was built in 18th century.
Travel Like a Local
The design inner and outer of the mosque is amazing beautiful ceramic and star sign. To visit, you must have long pant. We will drive about 15 minutes through traffic jam to reach Lalbagh fort – the construction of this fort started in 16th century. You can see old house, mosque and get information of historical time. It is the best sightseeing in Dhaka. Shakari bazaar tour is mainly to see oldest Hindu market in narrow line. This area is a nice place to see Hindu culture. Driving to Armenian church to see the church which was built in Armenian’s presence.
Later in 10 minutes, we will reach Ahsan Manzil – A Pink Palace which was built in 16th century. Outside of the palace looks awesome ancient building. Now it is a museum where Nwab people used things are displayed. One of the best places is in Dhaka for a visit. We will walk to Sadarghat terminal, Sadarghat water transport station. The busiest place is for crossing the river by boats. This river transportation shows excellent views to photographers. You must be pleased visiting this place. You can take a boat ride at the side to see shipyard. Dhaka to Barisal, We will travel by night ship. The ship starts at 8/9 pm. It takes 8 hours journey by ship (overnight ship). There are cabins in the launch with private washroom and Bengali food in restaurant.
Only Floating Market of Bangladesh
Day-3: 13 November 2026, Barisal. Early morning about 5 am, reserved AC car will be there to take us. It is our one hour journey by reserved car to the boat station. On the way, you will take breakfast in a local restaurant. Reaching there, we get on the engine boat to reach floating market. Food is available in the boat. This boat journey of about one hour will drive through big river, canals and Small River, if there is much water in the backside canals of houses, we will go too. Floating market of seasonal vegetables and fruits hold in all months (guava market is in June- August). You can visit the biggest timber market of Bangladesh, ship breaking yard, once upon a time it was a ship breaking yard.
Now-a-days launch, engine boats are being repaired and painting here. Wood mill, this is a place you can see wood collecting and cutting into pieces. At 12.00 pm, we will go to houses, village to see their culture, lifestyle. At 3 pm, you will go to local market to shop necessary items for cooking. In a family, the items from the market will be used to cook where you can see and join to do. Thus you spend the time by exchanging or walking at the river side until the ship time. We have night journey again from Barisal to Dhaka. The facilities are in private cabin as of the previous time. We will reach in Dhaka at 5 am.
Tea Capital of Bangladesh
Day-4: 14 November 2026, Dhaka – Srimangal. In the morning, we will take a local transport to go to bus station or train station in order to go to Srimangal. It may take about one hour. If there is no train in our schedule, we will use bus which takes about 5 hours to go to Srimangal. Reaching there, our reserved AC car will pick up us, take lunch then drive to hotel in 10 minutes. After check and refresh, we will drive to tea worker tribal community to see their lifestyle for about 1 hour. Just after this, we will go to Monipuri tribal village to see how they weave cloth with their wooden machine. You may try seven layer tea or back to hotel On the way, you can visit colonial people living at train station as street people. Overnight at hotel in Srimangal.
Day-5: 15 November 2026, Srimangal Visit – Dhaka. At 7 am, you will check out room to start the trip. First we will go to forest to observe bio diversity walking through the path or trail for up to 3 hours. In the middle of the forest, you can visit a tribal village named Khasia to see their lifestyle. Then we will visit green tea gardens and walk in the nature. Back to town for lunch. The train time is at 6 pm which reaches in Dhaka at 11 pm. Check in hotel and overnight stay in Dhaka.
Day-6: 16 November 2026. Transfer to airport. We will take you to airport in 30 minutes. Trip ends.
