Itinerary of Bangladesh 10 Days Tour
1st Day – Your arrival, Receive and Transfer to hotel – Dhaka
- Receiving, after your arrival in Dhaka, our tour guide will receive you from airport and transfer to the hotel. Transfer may take about 1 hour depending on hotel location.
- Overnight at hotel in Dhaka.
2nd Day – Whole Day Visit in Dhaka then drive to Barisal
- After breakfast, we will start our tour to the following places in the morning.
- Sadarghat- the most crowded area in Bangladesh where there are river transports to launch to different locations. It is the best place for photography. You will be amazed here by walking, visiting and boating. This place will give an idea of local people style.
- Ahsan Manzil- a pink palace was built in Mughal period. One of the best travel places in Dhaka.
- Sakhari bazaar- A narrow path in the market to see the Hindu markets. It is also very crowd.
- Lalbagh fort- A fort was built in Mughal period. It is also a nice place for information and historical sites.
- Star mosque- A Mughal period mosque with star sign on its inner and outer wall which has dome is also an attraction to tourists.
- Dhakeshwory temple- An oldest temple in Bangladesh.
- Curzon hall- A building was built in the British period. The buildings look nice.
- Night Journey Dhaka to Barisal: The launch starts at 8.30/9.00 pm from Dhaka to Barisal. It takes about 8 hours for 200 kilometers. In the launch, there are private cabins with attached bath. See options below.
3rd Day – Backwater trip in Barisal, only floating market in Bangladesh
- After reaching there early in the morning (5 am), we will drive to the places for visit. You will check in hotel late. Places are as follows:
- Floating market, the only place to see the floating market in Bangladesh. In the market, there are vegetables, timbers, rice etc. July is the best time to see floating market.
- Ship breaking yard, you can also visit ship breaking yard. Once upon a time, it was a ship movement place. Now steamers and boats are repaired.
- Landlord house– An old house was built in 16th century. It is still abandoned.
- A Mughal mosque– An oldest designed mosque in a country side.
- Overnight in Barisal.
4th Day – Visit some places in Barisal then drive to Dhaka
- In the morning, we will visit fish market and vegetable market in Barisal.
- Then we will drive from Barisal to Dhaka which takes about 4 hours for 200 kilometers. Reaching in Dhaka, you will stay in hotel.
- Overnight at hotel in Dhaka.
5th Day – Dhaka to Srimangal, the tea Capital of Bangladesh
- We will drive from Dhaka to Srrimangal. It takes about 5 hours journey for 200 kilometers. After reaching there, check in hotel then you will visit some places as follows:
- Monipuri tribal community visit to see their lifestyle and weaving cloths with their handloom machine.
- Tea worker community– A type of tribal community living in the hilly areas. This tribal people live near the tea gardens and work for the tea company.
- Tea garden – Flat tea garden area or walk through the tea garden and tea worker community.
- Seven color tea shop– there are seven color and seven layers in one glass. You may try to taste.
- Overnight in Srimangal.
6th Day – Sreemangal Visit and Sightseeing Around
- Whole day visit in Sreemangal. This day, you will visit following places.
- Lawachora– this is a tropical rain forest where you can walk in the forest to enjoy nature and see bio diversity.
- Khasia tribal community- A tribal community lives in the forest. You can see them and their lifestyle.
- Tea plantation– The green tea valley and green carpet of tea garden is for long way where you can walk in tranquil.
- Tripura tribal people– Another tribal community is living near the forest. You can visit their village.
- Overnight at hotel in Srimangal.
7th Day – Sreemangal visit then move to Chittagong
- In the morning, visit Hindu temple and pottery village.
- Visit local vegetable market and fish market in the morning.
- Journey to Chittagong (about 7 hours for 300 kilometers).
- Overnight at hotel in Chittagong.
8th Day – Visit Whole Day in Chittagong city and around
- If you want to visit the biggest fish market of Bangladesh, you have to go early in the morning. You can skip it.
- Ship breaking yard visiting from boat. (If permitted).
- Salt production center where we can see how workers collect salt and process.
- A Muslim saint place who came from Yemen in 12th century and oldest mosque in Chittagong.
- Overnight at hotel in Chittagong.
9th Day – Long drive from Chittagong to Dhaka
- Long drive from Chittaging to Dhaka. It will take about 8 hours for 270 kilometers.
- Overnight at hotel in Dhaka.
10th Day – Visit and Departure (Ending of Bangladesh 10 days tour)
- After breakfast, the places in ancient capital city of Dhaka to visit are as following:
- Panam city – it is an abandoned city with many oldest buildings built in 12th-15th century. This city was used by Indian and European merchents.
- Goaldi mosque, a Mughal period mosque is about to end.
- Archaeological museum and landlord house, this belongs to government, a collection of archaeological things.
- We will take you to the airport for departure. Trip ends.
