Itinerary of Day Trip from Chittagong City

- Start & Ends: 8/9 am from hotel in Chittagong. Finish at 5/6 pm in the same place.
Starting, in the morning our local tour guide will pick you from your hotel in Chittagong city. And continue driving to the Foy’s Lake which takes about 30 minutes. Reaching there, you will take a boat ride for about 1 hour to see surroundings.
Foy’s Lake is a man-made lake in Chittagong city which was created in 1924 for the Assam-Bengal Railway creating a dam across a small river to supply water to the railway colony. Foy’s Lake has a large amusement park with rides and a water park, a resort, a small zoo, and is set amidst hills and natural scenery. The lake got the name after the British railway engineer, Mr. Foy, who helped to design it.
Next we will move to Karnaphuli River flowing near Rangunia which is about 40 kilometers far from the city. This river provides scenic views and a tranquil environment.
Then we move to tea gardens. Rangunia is home to several tea gardens which offer picturesque landscapes.
Mahamuni Buddhist Monastery. This is a significant religious and cultural site in the area
Remnants of the Chakma Rajbari that is located in Shukhbilash, Padua, these are the historical remnants of a royal residence.
Rampahar-Sitapahar Wildlife Sanctuary is on the Chittagong-Rangunia Highway. This is a protected area known for its natural beauty.
After visiting this place, we will drive back to Chittagong city. It takes about 1 hour. Trip ends.
