Itinerary of 7 Days Trip in Bangladesh

1st Day: Arrival in Dhaka – Old Dhaka Visit – Night Journey – Barisal
If your arrive before 12.00 PM (in the morning), you can visit many places. On your arrival, our English speaking experienced tour guide will receive you by reserved AC car from Dhaka airport. We will go to restaurant for lunch. After lunch, we will visit historical places in old Dhaka such as Ahsan Manzil (ping palace), Laal Bagh fort, Sadarghat, Star mosque, Armenian Churce etc. There is a launch (ship) journey starting at 8/9 pm which takes about 8 hours that you will reach in Barisal at 5 am. In the launch, there is private cabin and food available to buy. Overnight at private cabin in launch.
2nd Day: Barisal Visit
If you like to see the busy floating market of Bangladesh, it is the place that you have to go early in the morning ( starting about at 5 am). Besides there is floating timber market, saw mill, brick factory, boating in backwater to enjoy silence. After lunch in as local restaurant, we will go to Mughal period mosque and a landlord house. Also, you can visit Church and Hindu Temple. Overnight at hotel in Barisal.
3rd Day: Barisal – Bagerhat – Mongla
After breakfast, we can visit local fish market and vegetable market then continue to drive from Barisal to Mongla. On the way, you will visit 60 dome mosque – UNESCO declared world heritage site and a saint place. Reaching in Mongla, check in hotel. Overnight at hotel in Mongla.
4th Day: Mongla -Sundarban Visit – Khulna
Today morning, we will take a reserved private engine boat to visit Sundarban forest. It is a river journey to see natural view and houses made at the side of the river. There is canals to cruise and visit the largest mangrove by walking for hours. You may see some wildlife. In the afternoon, we will drive toward Khulna by reserved car. Overnight at hotel in Khulna.
5th Day: Khulna – Dhaka
Today, according to the options, we will take our journey to Dhaka. Check in hotel for overnight in Dhaka.
6th Day: Dhaka – Srimangal
We will drive in the morning which will take about 5 hours for 200 kilometers distance. Besides, there is traffic jam. If you take private car according to option, you can visit ancient capital city of Bengal. This city is abandoned where there are many oldest buildings built following the British colonial style. You can also visit landlord house and museum. Then continue driving to Srimangal.
On the way, you can visit brick factory, rice processing and paddy field. Reaching in Srimangal, you will check in hotel and refresh for a short time. You will take lunch then start visiting Monipuri tribal village to see the people and their traditional weaving cloths with the hand loom. You will also visit tea workers community to see their culture because their ancestors were brought by the British in British period. We can also take the taste of amazing seven color tea in seven layers. Overnight at hotel in Srimangal.
7th Day: Srimangal Visit – Dhaka
We will start to visit in the morning, the tea Capital of Bangladesh because most of the tea gardens are around Srimangal. The tropical rain forest – Lawachara which is close to Srimangal that is why this place is good for nature lover and wildlife observer. You will visit the forest to enjoy nature and walk to a tribal village named Khasia. Khasia is originally from Mongolian community. You will see them and their lifestyle. After lunch, we will take return journey to Dhaka. We will reach in Dhaka at 7/8 pm. Drop off at your hotel / airport. Trip ends.
