1st Day: Your Arrival – Dhaka, 5 days tour in Bangladesh
Our tour guide will receive you from airport in Dhaka and transfer to hotel. Depending on your arrival, we will visit some places in and around Dhaka. We will first visit Parliament building, a legislative house of government bodies which is very decorative inner and outside. After breakfast, we will start our tour to Ahsan Manzil, it is a pink palace was built in Mughal period. Now-a-days it is a museum to walk inside to see all used materials and visit the building from outside. Sadarghat is a launch, boat and ship terminal from where they move down to other districts. The best place for photography.
Continue driving to Laal Bagh Fort, this is a Mughal period building and area you can enjoy a lot here. We will walk in the area to see a mosque, an historical grave and residence. Next we will visit Star Mosque it was built in medieval period with star sign. The mosque has domes with star. Interior and exterior of the mosque are with star sign, stones & Japanese Mosaic tiles. You may visit Dhakeshwary temple it is a Hindu oldest temple in Bangladesh. Now it is national temple of Bangladesh. This carries huge information. Curzon Hall, some ancient buildings were built in British period. It is now used by Dhaka University. Overnight at hotel in Dhaka.
2nd Day: Dhaka – Srimangal
Today morning, we will receive you from your hotel in Dhaka at 7 am / 8 am. Then we start driving to Srimangal. On the way, we can visit, brick factory to see the traditional brick making with hands if our journey is by reserved transport.
There is rice processing factory that we will visit. Moreover we can see the nice country side, paddy field and daily lifestyle, Reaching in Srimangal, you will check in hotel. In the afternoon, we will visit Monipuri tribal village, this tribal village is very popular for their unique culture, weaving cloth by hand loom wooden machine. You can see their weaving work and lifestyle. Then we will move to seven color tea stall, a tea stall offers seven layers tea of seven different colors in one glass. You can take this tea for drinking and photography. Next visit to tea worker community We can go to tea workers community. This area is still like a colony. They are also a tribal- Indian community. The British brought them during the British period. Overnight at hotel in Srimangal.
3rd Day: Srimangal Visit
In the morning, we will get ready to visit Lawachara tropical rain forest. Only tropical rain forest of Bangladesh is recognized now as Lawachara Nation Park. Inside the forest, there are trails and off trails to walk. There is option to choose how many hours we will walk. A tribal village is situated inside the forest .You can visit Khasia tribal village to see their lifestyle. If we would like to taste local home made lunch in the community, we have to order beforehand. Or we will drive to town to take lunch in a local restaurant. A visit to Hindu temple, you will visit Hindu temple which is decorated to show the excellent view.
We will go to the local vegetable and fish market in the town. This is also a new experience to you. You will see the activities of daily life. Then you may visit colony people living near the train station for photography and see their lifestyle. We will visit some time here. At the end of the day, we can go to the wetland for boating to see the sun set and some birds. In winter, some migratory birds come here to visit and stay for a few months. If there is less water, we can not take a boat ride. Overnight at hotel in Srimangal.
4th Day: Srimangal – Dhaka
Today morning, we will go to the tea plantation to see workers tea leaf plucking activities and green valley tea garden. A relaxing walk can be in the natural traffic free road. Later we will move to the town for lunch. After lunch, we will drive to Dhaka. It is about 5 hours journey. On the way, we can go to Panam city, ancient capital city of building where you can see the oldest buildings of 8th to 11th century. Overnight at hotel in Dhaka.
5th Day: Dhaka City Visit
Today is free day to move around. We will drop off you at the airport. Trip ends.
